M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), was honored with the World Turkish Business Council (DTİK) Special Award for pioneering the establishment of city representative offices during his presidency of the World Turkish Business Council, which is the most important concrete step towards bringing the Turkish diaspora together on a single platform. Ali Kopuz, Vice President of the Board of Directors of TOBB, received the award on behalf of Hisarcıklıoğlu from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the ceremony organized at the 10th Congress of the World Turkish Business Council. ​
