Mahmut Özgener met with SRCIC President and the National People's Congress of China Member Lu Jianzhong. In addition to the commercial relations between China and Turkey, Turkey's contributions to the Modern Silk Road project and the new projects focused on the investment areas of Chinese companies in Turkey were discussed during the meeting.

During his visit to China, Özgener also visited Turkish Ambassador to Beijing A. Emin Önen and exchanged views on the establishment of a Turkish-Chinese Bilateral Chamber.
