During the meeting, Gökhan Yazıcı, Director of the Chemicals, Health, Textiles, and Wood Products Industry Department, provided an update on the amendments made to the Domestic Product Regulation and the calculation of the domestic content ratio. Murat Zaralı, Information Security Director at Yıldız Holding, delivered a presentation on the increasing cyberattacks targeting the food sector. The presentation detailed risks posed by social engineering, attacks carried out through the supply chain, and outdated systems such as OT/PLC/SCADA.
In the final segment of the meeting, the 2025 growth figures (3.6% nationwide, 2.9% in industry) and the contraction in agriculture were discussed. It was noted that regional geopolitical developments have increased energy, fertilizer, and freight costs; rising input costs (fertilizer, feed, packaging, and energy) have intensified the pressure on producers; and the rise in Brent crude oil prices has had a negative impact on agricultural input costs.
