14th Labor Council Meeting

The 14th Labor Council Meeting, organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security with the agenda “Digital Transformation in Working Life,” was held with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan.
Seyit Ardıç, Member of the TOBB Board of Directors, attended the meeting on behalf of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB). Speaking at the first panel of the meeting, moderated by Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Faruk Özçelik, Ardıç emphasized that TOBB considers digital transformation a priority agenda item through its 367 chambers and exchanges, 69 sector councils, and women and young entrepreneur committees.
Ardıç emphasized that digital transformation is a strategic process that protects employee rights and increases production capacity.
Ardıç also stated that TOBB offers training and consulting services in many areas, particularly artificial intelligence, e-commerce, e-export, and blockchain technology, and that TOBB will continue to lead the way in policies that support employment and strengthen cooperation between social partners in the digital transformation process.
Ardıç added that they are open to any kind of cooperation.
