The meeting, attended by Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Prof. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, was also attended by TOBB Board of Directors Treasurer Faik Yavuz, TOBB Türkiye International Health Tourism Council Chairman Özgür Öztan, TOBB Türkiye Medical Council Chairman Levent Mete Özgürbüz, members of the TOBB Türkiye Pharmaceutical Industry Council and the TOBB Türkiye Health Services Council, as well as representatives from health tourism, private hospitals, the pharmaceutical and medical sectors.

TOBB Board Member and Treasurer Faik Yavuz stated that Türkiye’s strong infrastructure and experience in the health sector could contribute to the health sector in Egypt. He also emphasized the need to increase health tourism and medical cooperation between the two countries.

At the meeting, where opportunities and incentives were discussed by the Egyptian delegation, the council members evaluated possible collaborations, highlighting the needs of the sector in Egypt.
