For the past two years, the Apron Ceremony, organized for students starting 9th grade and choosing the Plumbing Technology and Air Conditioning Department, was held again this year with great excitement and the participation of Özcan Şahin, District Director of National Education. The TOBB Türkiye Air Conditioning Council organizes this special ceremony every year to boost the motivation of students as they take their first steps in their professional journey. During the ceremony, students experience the pride of stepping into their professional lives wearing uniforms provided by members of the Air Conditioning Council.
The scholarships provided by the Climate Council not only offer financial support but also reinforce young people's journey to success. Scholarship recipients have the opportunity to participate in important industry events in addition to their education. A great example of this was the “Young HVAC Technicians Compete” contest held at this year's ISK SODEX Fair with the approval of the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education. Batuhan Nazikol and Metehan Özcan, who study in the Plumbing Technology and Air Conditioning department at Avcılar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and receive scholarships from the TOBB Air Conditioning Council, achieved great success in the competition and won first prize. Such events enable students to gain knowledge and experience about the sector, as well as take a step forward in their careers.
The TOBB Türkiye Climate Control Council continues its projects aimed at training high-quality human resources in education and aims to contribute to the development of future sector leaders by increasing its support in this area. The scholarships and material support provided by the Council represent an important step not only in the education of students but also in contributing to the development of the sector.
The HVAC Council is relentlessly pursuing its efforts to ensure that young people closely follow developments in the sector, adapt to new technologies, and develop a passion for their profession.
