Prior to the summit, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk, Supreme Council Members, Regional Representatives, and Provincial Presidents of the Women Entrepreneurs Council from the region visited Kars Governor Ziya Polat, followed by Kars Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board President Kadir Bozan.
Following the visits, the TOBB Provincial KGK Eastern Anatolia Regional Meeting was held with an agenda to evaluate the projects and activities of the provinces in the region. At the meeting, ideas were exchanged on how to benefit the provinces in terms of entrepreneurship.
At the “Those Who Left Their Mark on the Highest Peaks Business Summit” held at the Kars Public Education Center, opening speeches were made by TOBB KGK President Nurten Öztürk, Kars CCI Board Chairman Kadir Bozan, TOBB Hakkari KGK President and Regional Representative Sevda Keskin, and TOBB Kars KGK President Müge Kaya.
Following the speeches, the Trailblazers Panel, moderated by TOBB KGK Vice President Serap Kocaoğlu, featured Nuran Özyılmaz, owner of Kars Kaz Evi and UNESCO Sustainable Development Project Award-winning female entrepreneur, researcher and writer Neşe Doster, Boneta Board Chair Nafiye Hacıoğlu, Ardahan-Kars-Iğdır Women's Association Chair Canan Avşar Uzun, TOBB Ağrı KGK Chair Veterinarian Edibe Yıldırım Demircan, and Iğdır Women's Cooperative Chair Yıldız Aktaş shared their success stories with the participants.
Following the panel, plaques were presented to women entrepreneurs who have added value to Kars and its economy, with the participation of Kars Governor Ziya Polat. Dilek Adıgüzel, owner of Hanımeli Kars Mutfağı; Sondem Yıldırım, Founding President of Oğuzlu Agricultural Development Cooperative; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asya Çetinkaya from Kafkas University; Zümran Ömür, President of the Boğatepe Environment and Life Association, Veterinarian Olcay Öztürkler, Süreyya Yılmaz, the province's first private school operator, and Firuze Hüryurt and Hümeyra Baki, producers of Kavlıca wheat, were among those who “Left Their Mark on the Highest Peaks” with their work.
