The meeting started with the opening speech of Nevzat YAVUZ, Sector Council President, and Levent KORKUT, Chairman of the Insurance Agents Executive Committee, informed about the activities of the Executive Committee and current sectoral developments.

In the said meeting, the members of the sector council exchanged views on the Insurance Workshop, insurance companies and insurance intermediaries whose activities were suspended by the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Board, problems experienced in Compulsory Financial Liability Insurance for Highways Motor Vehicles, taxation of work sharing income, guarantees given to insurance companies within the scope of the agency contract and the fact that some insurance companies do not accept guarantees in foreign currency, unauthorized insurance activities carried out in subscriber centers and the insurance fair to be organized in 2025.
