Cengiz Günay, born on January 7th, 1968, in Tekirdağ, is the father of one daughter. Günay started his business life in the retail food sector in 1987 and founded Günaylar Food, Logistics, Warehousing, Tourism, Construction, Automotive, Industry Trade Limited Company in 1998 and is still engaged in this business.

Cengiz Günay has also taken part in Tekirdağ Sports Management and founding of Tekirdağ Young Businessmen Association. Mr. Günay was elected in 2005 Treasurer of Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Deputy President in 2009. He was elected President of Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 16.03.2011. He was reelected President of the Board of Directors in May 2013 Tekirdağ CCI and was elected to the Board of Directors in the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) 69th General Assembly.

Günay, elected as the President of the Board of Directors of Tekirdağ CCI again in organ elections held in April 2018, renewed confidence by being reelected as a member of the TOBB Board of Directors in TOBB 74th General Assembly. Günay continues to hold these offices.
