The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB)Vice President Tamer Kıran attended the Ukraine-Turkey Business Forum held at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the occasion of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Ukraine.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended a business dinner hosted by the Indonesian Embassy in Ankara in honor of Indonesian Deputy Minister of Commerce Dr. Jerry Sambuaga, who is in Turkey for official visits.​

The number of Capacity Reports, which was 73,303 in 2018, has increased by 3.25% to 75,681 in 2019.​

The Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the Agriculture and Forestry Council Action Plan Promotion Meeting held at the Forestry General Directorate. The Union Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Climate Control Council, the public opinion process and pilot exam applications completed qualification reports submitted to the Vocational Qualification Authority (FMC) were discussed at the Meeting of the MyK Energy Sector Committee on January 16, 2020. ​

The First Turkish Side Meeting of the “Turkey-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum” established between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Azerbaijan Employers Confederation was held at TOBB under TOBB Board Member Öztürk Oran.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Automotive Industry Council convened in Ankara to elect the Presidential Council under the chairmanship of TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş and to make the overall assessment of the sector.​

With the GS1-128 Barcode System, companies can offer the consumer's knowledge of the products they produce from the first stop to the last moment. GS1 Turkey authorities urged all companies to use this application to reassure consumers. The first application came from Metro Turkey. The company started to implement this system and presented the story of the meat to the end consumer with details of its arrival at the table. GS1 Turkey said in a statement that this application will increase transparency for companies emphasizing that it should be evaluated for all productions.​
