The number of the newly established companies decreased by 18,12 % in Febuary 2011 with respect to previous month.

The number of the newly established companies decreased by 18,12 %, the number of the newly established sole proprietorships decreased by 5,71 %, and while the number of the newly established cooperatives decreased by 5,61 respectively according to the previous month.​ ​

The Council for Forest Products of Turkey convened with heavy agenda items

The Council for Forest Products of Turkey performed the new year's first meeting in our Union's Social Facilities Assembly Hall. TOBB Board Member and Vice President Yavuz called for ‘Increase the productivity in agriculture’

Speaking at the conference “ Wheat, Licensed Warehousing and Futures” organized by Turkish Flour Producers Federation in cooperation with Ukraine Agricultural markets Research Institution (APK-INFORM); TOBB Board member and Vice President Faik Yavuz said that in the last eight years World income increased 30% but the food prices increased 200 %. ​ ​

Mr. Mustafa KUMLU, President of TURK-İS is elected as Co-Chair of the Turkish side for Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee (JCC)

Mr. Salim USLU was elected as the Co-chair of TR-EU JCC on 1 March 2011. However, Mr. Uslu has resigned his presidency from HAK-İS Confederation, thereby resigned from his assignment in the JCC as well, because, he stands as a candidate for the coming general elections.    ​ ​

Undersecretariat of Public Order and Security in its new service building…

The new service building of Undersecretariat of Public Order and Security came into service with a ceremony. The opening ceremony, with the participation of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Interior Beşir Atalay and moreover TOBB Member of Board M. Arif Parmaksız and TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz, held after the rearrangement of the former TOBB central office building.​ ​

Mr. Salim Uslu, President of HAK-İŞ is elected as Co-Chair of the Turkish side for Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee (JCC).

Meeting was held on 1 March 2011 at TOBB Headquarters in Ankara with participation of President of TOBB M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoglu, President of HAK-İŞ  Salim Uslu, President of TİSK Tugrul Kudatgobilik, President of TÜRK-İŞ Mustafa Kumlu, President of TESK Bendevi Palandöken, President of KAMUSEN Bircan Akyıldız and Deputy Secretary Generel of TZOB Selahattin Mermer. President of HAK-İŞ Mr. Salim Uslu is elected as the new Co-chair of Turkish side of the Committee for the years 2011 – 2013. ​ ​
