Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the 3rd Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Nicosia (TRNC) Investment Advisory Council meeting. TRNC Prime Minister Ersin Tatar and Vice President Fuat Oktay also made evaluations at the meeting. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his address at the Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum’s 1st Economics Conference, stated that they work together as Turkey and the TRNC business communities and that they want to share their experiences.​

17th Ordinary General Assembly of the Organized Industrial Zones Upper Corporation (OSBÜK), the umbrella organization of all the organized industrial zones in Turkey, was held at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Twin Towers Conference Hall. Participating in the General Assembly were TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank OSBÜK President Memis Kütükcü as well as the presidents and delegates of organized industrial zones throughout Turkey.​

Red Crescent President Kerem Kınık and Vice President Naci Yorulmaz visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office. During the meeting held closed to the press, a mutual exchange of views took place. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu convened with TOBB Board Member and Bursa Commodity Exchange President Özer Matlı and Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry President İbrahim Burkay at the TOBB Twin Towers. Views were exchanged on a variety of subjects. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu paid a congratulatory visit to Turkey Union of Chambers of Agriculture (TZOB) President Şemsi Bayraktar. Common issues were discussed during the meeting. ​

Bulgarian-Turkish Trade and Industry Chamber President Emre Edis, Vice President and General Manager Ömer Ventsislav Venkov visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, together with Ankara Chamber of Commerce, Ankara Chamber of Industry and Ankara Commodity Exchange, visited Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş. Then, together with the partners of Ankara International Fair and Congress Co. Inc., they examined the preparations of the congress and exhibition center on the spot. Hisarcıklıoğlu participated in the meeting held on the construction site. ​

65th General Assembly of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Turkey National Committee was held at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Twin Towers. TOBB and the ICC Turkey National Committee President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the General Assembly and the plaque ceremony afterwards. Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, Konya Chamber of Commerce and İstanbul Chamber of Commerce for their achievements in the World Chambers Competition held in ICC 11th World Chambers Congress held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 12-14 June 2019, presenting them with commemorative plaques.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the METU Microelectromechanical Systems Research and Applications Center (MEMS). Receiving information from Center Director Dr. Tayfun Akın about the technology they have developed and the high value added products they export to the world, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I congratulate all academics and the team who contributed to the groundbreaking technologies in our defense industry.” ​
