The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, emphasized the importance of national will and independence in his message published on the occasion of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day and said, “We celebrate April 23rd, the birthday of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, with great pride and joy. Sovereignty and independence is the greatest wealth of our nation.”​

The “Türkiye-TRNC Second Economic Conference” organized by the Türkiye-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building with the participation of Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan, TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu, TRNC Consul General in İstanbul Fatma Demirel, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce Turgay Deniz, Co-Chairman of the TRNC Side of the Türkiye-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Omaç Cin and business people.​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with TRNC İstanbul Consul General Fatma Demirel, President of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce Turgay Deniz, KTTO TCC Board members and Cypriot business people at a dinner before the 2nd Economic Conference of the Türkiye-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum.​
