TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the 5th Orhangazi Gedelek Pickle Festival. Speaking at the event, which was the first festival after registering geographical marker for the Orhangazi Gedelek Pickle, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu praised the success of the Orhangazi district, claiming ownership of its product. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Today, it is not enough to produce. We need to produce brands and open up to the world. Orhangazi is now acting with this vision and doing a very good job.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, participating in the 4th Gemlik Olives Festival, urged for the branding of Gemlik olives, which has the best table olives in the world: “It is not enough to produce. We should be able to sell to the world as a brand.”​

Turkey-EU Business Dialogue Project begins. The project will be implemented by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the European Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres) with European Union providing financial support. In this context, more than 100 projects will be implemented. Speaking at a press conference to promote the project, TOBB President and Eurochambres Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “With this project, the European Union will provide more than 5 million euros to our Chambers and Commodity Exchanges. This project is also an attempt to revive the EU-Turkey relations, which cooled down in recent years.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the 104th Term Governorship Course TOBB Information Meeting and gave recommendations.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Australian Ambassador to Ankara, Marc Innes-Brown.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that they see the Palestinian issue as a matter of interest for Turkey as the Turkish business community, “We see eye to eye. We deeply feel your pain.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received information about the Georgian side of the Sarp Border Gate from Tornike Rijvadze, the President of the Government of Adjara Autonomous Republic of Georgia. During the meeting in Batumi, evaluations were made about the Border Gate.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Artvin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) President Seçkin Kurt at his office. Conversing with the Board of Directors and Council Members, Hisarcıklıoğlu exchanged views with representatives of the Artvin business community.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the consultation meeting organized by Artvin Chamber of Commerce and Industry where the future of the economy was discussed and successful businessmen were awarded. TOBB President expressed pride in entrepreneurs who are investing, providing employment and contributing to the prosperity of Turkey.​
