Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Bolivian Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Antelo

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Jean Pierre Antelo, President of the Bolivian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Tourism, and Maria Monica Conte, Vice President of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce in Nairobi. During the meeting, the contributions of the Latin American Chambers of Commerce and Industry to the work of the World Federation of Chambers, of which Hisarcıklıoğlu is the President, and new projects were evaluated. ​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the World Federation of Chambers (WCF) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with President William Samoei Ruto of Kenya in Nairobi, where he went for the World Federation of Chambers Africa Summit, and exchanged views on investment opportunities in Kenya and Türkiye - Kenya trade and economic relations. ​

“We don’t want a world walled up with tariffs and quotas”

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the World Chambers Federation (WCF) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), stated that the business world has always been in favor of free trade while evaluating the US decision to increase tariffs and China’s response to the same. At the WCF Africa Summit, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that they do not want a world where walls are built with tariffs and quotas.​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with US investors led by Hamdi Ulukaya, President of the US- Türkiye Business Council, and Khush Choksy, Senior Vice President of the US Chamber of Commerce, who visited Türkiye in cooperation with TOBB and the US Chamber of Commerce, at TOBB Twin Towers. ​

Condolence visit to Yenimahalle Mayor Fethi Yaşar

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcılıoğlu paid a condolence visit to Ankara Yenimahalle Mayor Fethi Yaşar for his son Bülent Yaşar who passed away. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I pray for the grace of Allah upon the deceased and condolences to his family and relatives. May his place be heaven.” ​
