Tourism plays a big role in paying off the current deficit
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu made important announcements in Alanya. Requesting tax relief for the tourism sector, Hisarcıklıoğlu also supported the regulation which would make it easier for foreigners to acquire real estate in Turkey. The TOBB President emphasized that the Gazipaşa Airport needs to open up to international flights if Alanya is to become a brand name city.

We want the European economy to recover from the crisis as soon as possible
Answering questions during his Alanya visit, the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu was Channel Alanya TV’s live guest. Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that the crisis in Europe has regressed the economy 700 billion dollars, “When you consider that 60% of our exports are made to Europe, any crises there affects us negatively. Therefore we want them to recover as soon as possible.”

Turkey is the largest global giant between Italy and China
The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Today, Turkey has come the point that it is the largest global giant between Italy and China. We must market what we produce in the region whether it be in Bingöl, Tunceli or Malatya.”

Shame on those who place their hopes on violence and terror
In his speech regarding the explosion in Kızılay, Ankara which caused the deaths of 3 and injured 34 and the attack in Siirt where 4 lost their lives while 2 people were injured, the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they condemned any and all violent attacks that cost the lives of innocents, saying, “Shame on those who place their hopes on violence and terror.”
