Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The academic advisors appointed in the new term of the Academic Advisors project, which has been carried out in cooperation with TOBB and TEPAV since 2014, convened to provide information about the project. ​

In cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Ministry of Trade, an implementation union meeting was held for the trade registry directorates operating in the earthquake region.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Packaging Council was held at the İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Mustafa Tacir and with the participation of TOBB Board Member Engin Yeşil.​

Cargo companies that are members of the Türkiye Transport and Logistics Council, under the chairmanship of the Council President Çetin Nuhoğlu, came together via video conference regarding the cargo shipments made to and from the disaster area. Cargo companies, which offer various support to SMEs and individual shipments, emphasized that it is important to revive the industrial and commercial life of the region as soon as possible. Following the operationalization of the cargo branches in the earthquake region, TOBB announced that they will soon announce the campaigns for online sales from the region, SMEs and also individual shipments. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) E-Commerce Council Meeting was held via video conference under the chairmanship of Council President Ozan Acar with the participation of TOBB Vice President Selçuk Öztürk, Ministry of Commerce Electronic Commerce Department Head Mehmet Kayış, Ministry of Commerce Trade Registry Department Head Serkan Yüksel and Information Technologies Authority Information Specialist Demet Kabasakal.​

Organized and local food retailers in the TOBB Turkey Retail Council convened via videoconference under the chairmanship of Council President Alp Önder Özpamukçu with the participation of TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş to discuss the product supply processes from the earthquake region.​

At the meeting held at TOBB within the scope of the Chamber/Commodity Exchange Accreditation System efforts, the expectations of the Commodity Exchange Article of the renewed Accreditation Standard were explained and consultations were held about the contents of the article in question. ​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council held its Supreme Council Meeting with the earthquake special agenda within the scope of March 8th, International Women's Day.​

Within the scope of the Chamber/Commodity Exchange Accreditation System efforts, Strategic Planning/Business Plans Risk Management Training was held at TOBB on 6-7 March 2023 for the 3rd, 8th, 11th Term A and B class Accredited Chambers/Exchanges.​

According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1,363 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in February 2023.​
