Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Lord John Hutton, UK Trade Representative to Türkiye, at a working dinner.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board Member Selçuk Öztürk participated in the 36th Akhi Week closing program held in Kırşehir with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Trade Minister Ömer Bolat. ​

The Mediation Council Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Hakan Öztatar, General Director of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Justice, with the participation of Hasan Çağlayan Dündar, TOBB President Advisor and Head of Real Sector R&D and Implementation Department.​

During the first eight months of the year 2023 the number of newly established Companies and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 3,8% and 19,5% while the number of cooperatives increased by 72,9% with respect to the same period of the year 2022.​

Under the chairmanship of Zeki Kıvanç, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), a delegation from the Cement and Cement Products Council, Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Council, Chemical Industry Council, Cosmetics and Hygiene Products Industry Council and Plastics, Rubber and Composites Industry Council visited Gürsel Erul, Deputy General Director of Environmental Management of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, in his office.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Waste and Recycling Industry Council convened to elect the new term Presidency Council and determine the road map.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Council Presidency Council election meeting was held with the participation of Engin Yeşil, TOBB Board Member responsible for the Council.​

The Commission on Social Affairs (CAS) meeting, where practices for the road transport sector were discussed by the members of the Commission on Social Affairs (CAS) of the International Road Transport Union (IRU), was held in Brussels/Belgium on September 6th, 2023.​

In order to facilitate the distribution of transit documents carried out by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) effectively, efficiently and in accordance with the rules, Türkgözü border gate joined the border gates document distribution network.​

The Türkiye Software Council convened at the TOBB Twin Towers with the participation of TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci and under the chairmanship of Council President Ertan Barut.​
