Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Retail Council Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Council President Alp Önder Özpamukçu with the participation of TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay, who is responsible for the Council; It was held at TOBB İstanbul Service Building with the great interest and participation of high-level representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) E-commerce Council convened in a hybrid meeting in İstanbul with the participation of TOBB Vice President of the Board of Directors Selçuk Öztürk under the chairmanship of Ozan Acar, Council President of the Turkish E-commerce Council.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, stating that 9 arbitrators from Türkiye have been appointed to the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), said, “We expect and want the ICC to give more space to our country's lawyers in the appointment of arbitrators.”​

During the first nine months of the year 2022 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives increased by 23,9% and 28,3% while the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 5,2% with respect to the same period of the year 2021.​

TIRExB (TIR Executive Board) Workshop meeting on Intermodal Aspects of the TIR System was held via video conference.​

TOBB came together with Borusan Lojistik at Gebze Marmara Transporters Garage and TIR Park for the absence of drivers, which are closely related to the sides of economic life in road transportation.​

The BSEC-URTA General Assembly, of which the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) is an Honorary member, was held on October 6th, 2022, in Thessaloniki, Greece.​

The Workgroup and the Administrative Committee (AC.2) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (BMAEK WP.30), the executive body of the TIR Convention, were held on 11-14 October 2022 in Geneva/Switzerland.​

Türkiye-Mongolia Business Forum was held at TOBB Twin Towers with the participation of Mongolian Parliament Speaker Zandanshatar Gombojav, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board Member Faik Yavuz, Mongolia National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) President Amartuvshin Otgondavaa, Mongolian Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Bolorchuluun Khayangaa and Mongolian Minister of Environment and Tourism Bat-Erdene Bat-Ulzii.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) met with the participation of TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken under the chairmanship of Kemal Yamankaradeniz, Council President of the Patent and Trademark Attorneys Council.​
