Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Digital Master Project launch event was hosted by the Nevşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

Tamer Kıran, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), participated in a roundtable meeting held at the New York Turkish House as part of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s visit to the United States. The meeting was co-hosted by Khush Choksy, Vice President of the US Chamber of Commerce, and Hamdi Ulukaya, Chairman of the US-Türkiye Business Council of the US Chamber of Commerce, under the memorandum of understanding between TOBB and the US Chamber.​

Seyit Ardıç, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the 7th Meeting of the ISEDAC National Coordination Committee chaired by İbrahim Şenel, President of the Strategy and Budget Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye. ​

Ali Çandır, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and President of the Antalya Commodity Exchange, and Dr. Hasan Çağlayan Dündar, Advisor to the President of TOBB, held a series of institutional visits in Ankara and held talks on agricultural policies, geographical indications, agricultural technologies, and sustainable food systems.​

The Petroleum and Petroleum Products Industry Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) convened with the participation of TOBB Board Member Engin Yeşil and under the chairmanship of Council President Ahmet Erdem. Current issues on the sector’s agenda were discussed at the meeting, and evaluations were made with officials from relevant public institutions.​

The Digital Master Project launch event was hosted by the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce. The program began with opening remarks by Taner Özdurak, Vice Chairman of the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and Özkan Çokaygil, Sales and Business Development Director at Trendyol, and continued with a signing ceremony. The Digital Master Project was introduced to Gaziantep, one of the five pilot provinces.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Waste and Recycling Industry Council meeting was held under the chairmanship of Council President Ali Kantur, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç. ​​​

The TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Western Black Sea Regional Meeting and Certificate Ceremony was held at the Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

The Consultation Meeting on the Emission Trading System (ETS) for the cement sector was held under the auspices of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), with the participation of the Climate Change Presidency and sector representatives.​

TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci attended the second Digital Economy Investment Forum held this year in Amman, the capital of Jordan. Büyüksimitci also met with Turkish Ambassador to Amman Yakup Caymazoğlu at the forum.​
