Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

With Iraq implementing the TIR System for transit transport as of April 1, 2025, road transport to Gulf countries via Iraq has commenced. Following the commencement of transport and subsequent developments, a webinar was held yesterday in collaboration with the TOBB Transportation and Logistics Systems Department TIR Operations Directorate and the International Road Transport Union (IRU).​

The “Vocational Training Conference” within the scope of the EULEP – European Learning Experience Platform Project was held at the Adana Chamber of Industry.​

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and İZODER, held the 7th Regional Training on Energy Efficiency in Buildings in Ankara, hosted by TOBB.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Young Entrepreneurs Council (GGK) Aegean Region Meeting was held in Aydın with the participation of TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken.​

The Türkiye Venture Capital Council Meeting was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building with the participation of Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Zekeriya Çoştu, TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci, Council President Altan Küçükçınar, and council members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Packaging Council meeting was held in İstanbul with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç and chaired by Council President Mustafa Tacir.​

On December 8, 2025, Zeki Kıvanç, a member of the Board of Directors representing the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the 7th General Assembly Meeting of the Trade Facilitation Coordination Committee held at the Ministry of Trade.​

Faik Yavuz, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the Bosnia and Herzegovina Armed Forces Day Reception hosted by Mirsada Colakovic, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina.​

The 5th meeting of the Supreme Council of Women Entrepreneurs of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) was held online with the participation of the members of the Supreme Council, chaired by Nurten Öztürk, President of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK).​

As part of the Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System activities, the TOBB Quality Management System Basic Documentation and Process Management Training was organized on December 3-4, 2025, for the new Accreditation Officers and General Secretaries of Accredited Chambers/Exchanges.​
