Number of Industrial Capacity Reports increased by 18% in the first 2 months of 2020

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in February 2020 increased by 12% (389 units) to 3,632 units compared to February 2019.​
The number of capacity reports approved in the first 2 months of 2020 increased by 18% (1,192 units) compared to the first 2 months of 2019.
Of the 3,632 capacity reports approved in February; 1,106 were in Istanbul, 242 in Ankara, 230 in Bursa, 223 in Izmir, 151 in Kocaeli, 147 in Konya, 134 in Gaziantep, 90 in TekirdaÄŸ and Adana, 80 in Manisa.
The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database increased by 3.6% (2,633 units) from 73,786 in February 2019 to 76,419 units.
According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased from 3,139,659 in February 2019 to 3,204,292, increasing by 2.1% (64,633 units) in January 2020.
