My Sister Project – Inspiration Meeting with Women Entrepreneurs was held in Diyarbakır

Under the leadership of the Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), My Sister Project is being carried out in cooperation with Habitat Association, Coca-Cola Turkey and Istanbul Technical University in order to strengthen the social and economic positions of women and ensure that women are actively involved in economic development by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills for participation in economic life.​

In this context, the Inspiration Meeting with Women Entrepreneurs of My Sister Project was held on Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 at Diyarbakır Commercial Exchange (DTB) in Diyarbakır, hosted by Diyarbakır Commodity Exchange and TOBB Diyarbakır Women Entrepreneurs Council.

TOBB Board Member and Diyarbakır Commodity Exchange President Engin Yeşil, Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DTSO) President Mehmet Kaya, Board Members and business women attended the panel held at the DTB Conference Hall.

Speaking at the opening, Diyarbakır Commodity Exchange President (DTB) Engin Yeşil stated that in today's world, where technology is rapidly changing, it is necessary to raise awareness of basic financial issues and strengthening entrepreneurial skills in order to ensure that women are effectively benefiting from communication technologies for their effective participation in economic life.
