Faik Yavuz, TOBB Board Treasurer and Vice Chairman of the TOBB ETU Board of Trustees, emphasized that TOBB ETU is the project of which the community is the proudest, and that the Center of Excellence they opened is a fruit of these investments.

Yavuz stated that TOBB ETU Technology Center is the only center in the world where 6 engineering discipline laboratories are together, “74 research, 37 training laboratories and 13 design studios are conducting training and research in many fields from electronics to nanotechnology. The world's largest water turbine testing laboratory is in this center. The first prototypes of Turkey's unmanned aerial vehicles were made here. We are continuing our efforts to develop the world's fastest microprocessor with our overseas partners. So this center is where a new future is being built.”
