The TIR Committee, appointed by the TOBB Board of Directors for a period of two years, was convened in Istanbul under TOBB Vice President and TIR Committee Chairman Tamer Kıran. At the meeting, application acceptances of companies wishing to operate within the TIR System, demands of firms wishing to leave the system, firm requests who want to benefit from the guarantee discount and evaluations regarding the firms involved in irregularities for various reasons were discussed. In addition, current problems of the sector and solutions were discussed.
