Turkish Food Industry Council discussed vocational education system and food waste

Turkey Food Industry Council convened under Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member Özer Matlı and Council President Necdet Buzbas with the participation of council members.​

TOBB Board Member Özer Matlı, in his opening speech provided information regarding the Vocation Education Protocol signed between Bursa Governorship, provincial Directorate of National Education and Bursa Commodity Exchange (BTB) in regards to Hamidiye Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. Matlı explained that the school has been a well-established institution that has been training agricultural technicians since before the Republic and that they are working to provide an even better quality and equipped education. Özer Matlı said that by establishing a professional and career development center in the field of food processing, students and graduates of the school in question want to support their knowledge and skills acquisition processes according to labor market conditions. Matlı also said that they aim to provide scholarship support to successful students.
