CERN Technology Transfer Offices Summit was held in İstanbul on May 30th, 2016, hosted by İstanbul Information University. Attending the summit organized by İstanbul Information University High Energy Physics Applications and Research Center, TOBB ETU and TOBB were Technology Transfer Offices (TTO), various companies and representatives of universities, public institutions and organizations.​
TOBB CERN Industry Contact Office provided information regarding various opportunities at CERN in the field of Technology Transfer as well as the gains from becoming a CERN Partner.
İstanbul Information University High Energy Physics Applications and Research Center Director Prof. Serkant Ali Çetin gave a presentation on Turkey’s participation in scientific projects and the endeavors of relevant universities and their contact information.
CERN Technology Transfer Office Group Leader Dr. Giovanni Anelli provided examples of technological innovations borne from research undertaken at CERN and the contributions of member countries and companies, providing information and the path for Turkish researchers and companies to take for sharing in the technologies available in CERN portfolio.
On May 31st, 2016, the TTO and companies which registered took part in bilateral talks with Dr. Giovanni Anelli, exchanging information in their respective fields.
