Employment increased by 1,1 million people in private sector with economic growth

The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu attended “Industrial Organization Sector-Specific Performance Evaluation Organization” which was organized by Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, PricewaterhouseCoopers, CNN Türk and Doğu Marmara ABİGEM (EU-Turkey Business Center) in Kocaeli. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu uttered the fact that with economic growth, employment increased by 1,1 million people. Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu drew attention that structural reform is necessary and election will be in 2015. He is stated that it may be difficult to make structural reform while election period.
Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu is indicated that to be wealthy and to discourage unemployment, entrepreneurship number should be increased. He is stated that women entrepreneurship is important for economy of Turkey.
Economic Vitality
Stating that 70 firm has being in East Marmara in first 100 firm, Hisarciklioglu is indicated that export rate increased together with employment and also 74% of Turkey export is outcarring from the East Marmara.
He also uttered decreasing of protested debenture is the indicator of economic recovery.
Input Cost of Industry Sector
Hisarcıklioğlu is stated that not only rate of exchange affect to industry sector but also other inputs cost are influential. Water inputs is increased 15%, electricy is increased 40%, LPG is increased 19%, fuel oil is increasing 35% and natural gas is decreased 30%.
Hisarcıklioğlu is stated that Turkey is the 16.th large economy of the world. However according the UN Human Development Index Turkey is 126.th among 155 country, for the purposes of facility of work and investment Turkey is 65.th and international competition index Turkey is 61.th among 133 country.
Hisarcıklioğlu is indicated that public debt should be restructured.
Award Ceremony
Following the opening remarks, Hisarcıklıoğlu presented the awards to Standard Profil Otomotive Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in the category of large-scale enterprise and to Özak Turnike Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. in the category of SMEs.
The other awards were presented by Kocaeli Governor Ercan Topaca, Düze Governor Vasbi Şahin, President of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry Ayhan Zeytinoğlu , Assembly President of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, TOBB Vice-Presidents Halim Mete and Tanıl Küçük, Rector of Kocaeli University Sezer Şener Komşuoğlu and other Chamber representatives of the region.
