TOBB Turkey Small and Medium Sized Construction Contractors Council convened with Bekir Adıyaman presiding. Council members requesting that unfair competition in insulation materials be addressed stated that some products were not in the BEP-TR software, an important componentEnergy Performance in Buildings (BEP) Legislation, and that the BEP-TR was not performing up to par with requirements.​

- Issues will be related in detail to the new government During the TOBB Turkey Small and Medium Sized Construction Contractors Council meeting, work and activities to introduce and promote the sector to the new government elected on the June 12th 2011 elections we discussed.In the meeting, it was decided that detailed dossiers on such subjects as; Legislation Proposal for Changes to the Construction Inspection Law;  the worksite chief administration; obstacles in construction inspections; issue of unregistered and qualified workforce and energy productivity are prepared to be presented. - University – industry cooperation   At the meeting TOBB Economy and Technology University (ETU) Joint Training and Career Coordinator Ziya Sülünbe made a presentation for the “Joint Training” program conducted at TOBB ETU. The program aims to grant students practical experience in their chosen fields as well as the theoretical information they acquire at the university. The students are paid minimum wages by the companies they work with and their insurances are covered by TOBB ETU. Sülünbe stated that, to date, 14 joint training terms have been conducted and 750 companies in various provinces have signed protocols partaking in the program.
