March 31, 2024 General Elections for Local Authorities have been completed. May the results be beneficial to our country and nation. First of all, I would like to thank everyone who went to the polls and cast their votes, who protected the future of our country and democracy. I congratulate the elected Mayors. With the local elections behind us, a 4-year election-free period is an important opportunity for our country.

- Fighting inflation

There are many steps to be taken and much work to be done in the economy. We must focus on the fight against inflation with all our strength. The fight against inflation will be more successful with the coordination of monetary and fiscal policies. Price stability and financial stability will strengthen predictability. Thus, investments with high technology content and added value will increase.

- Structural reforms

It is also important that our country's production power is preserved and the sustainability of firms is not harmed. We must take effective and decisive steps on structural reforms. Reforms in many areas such as vocational training, employment policies, tax reform, increasing the operational efficiency of the judiciary, strengthening the institutional infrastructure, increasing the earthquake resistance of our cities, creating new industrial basins, bringing key technologies to our country, and preparing our country for green and digital transformation await us.
