Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrated May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrated the Day of Labor and Solidarity on May 1st. Emphasizing that workers and employers are integral parts of a whole, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We can only reach the level of prosperity we desire with the common solidarity of entrepreneurs, industrialists and workers. In our culture, sweat of the brow is sacred and valuable. Our first goal is to produce hand in hand. It is not possible to share without producing.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated in his message:
“We are in a world where competition is very intense. And in this new world order, we need one thing: to work hard and to produce by understanding and loving each other. As a country, we can only achieve our goals with labor-entrepreneur solidarity.
With these feelings and thoughts, on behalf of the Turkish business community, I celebrate the May 1st Day of Labor and Solidarity.”
