Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu exchanged views with Peter Clever, who was elected to the European Economic and Social Committee representing the German business world, about the work of the Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee next term efforts and Turkey-EU relations.​

The Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee, created in 1995 under Article 27 of the Ankara Agreement signed between Turkey and the European Union, brings together economic and social circles from Turkey and the EU.
