Turkish Council sends humanitarian aid to Azerbaijani civilians affected by Armenia's attacks

The Turkic Council has sent humanitarian aid to Azerbaijani civilians affected by Armenia's attacks. Following an extraordinary meeting of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Baku, which operates under the umbrella of the Turkish Council, humanitarian supplies were sent to the city of Berde, which Armenia attacked with missiles and cannons.​

The Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Memmed Musayev, President of the Confederation of Owners of Azerbaijan, and officials of the Turkish Council sent off the truck carrying the aid supplies from Baku.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, in a statement to members of the press, expressed thanks to the heads of state of the member states of the Turkic Council for the support of Azerbaijan.

Emphasizing that the Turkic Council is, “five states, one nation,” Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his wishes for Karabakh to be saved from invasion in a short time.

Ömer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council, stated that the Turkic Council is on Azerbaijan’s side in its rightful cause with all its units and structures.

Kocaman stressed that Turkic peoples will continue to stand by Azerbaijan.
