Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that for boycotts and embargoes are not becoming of businesspeople, and that they are in favor of free and fair trade as the Turkish business community.

Noting that he had expressed these thoughts at G20 and B20, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We must work harder for free trade.”
