Calls for Short Work Allowance for businesses affected by Covid-19

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu urged businesses affected by the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) to protect its employees and not reduce employment, said “The resource you need is in the Short Work Allowance.”​

Hisarcıklıoğlu, on the Short Work Allowance Twitter account, appealed to all businesses and entrepreneurs who have been adversely affected by the new type coronavirus outbreak, tweeted, “Protect the employee; do not reduce employment, the resource you need is in the Short Work Allowance. Applications began today. Detailed information can be found at http://iskur.gov.tr .”
