Hisarcıklıoğlu said, explaining that TOBB is the most democratic institution in Turkey, “None of you were placed on assignment. Every one of you is the leader of their profession in your own city. Ours is the hardest election. It's the hardest thing to ask for votes from an opponent you've been competing against for four years.  You're the cement of society. Without merchants, there's no way this house would stand. We are the ones who provide the best social reconciliation. When we buy and sell goods, we don't look at a man's sect, religion, or political opinion. We'll get the best quality from whoever gives it to us.”

The TOBB President stating that there are no riches to be had in these jobs, said that everyone's goal is to make the city richer when taking office in chamber and exchanges.

Emphasizing unity and solidarity, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Birds fly with their flocks. We'll win if we're one. We're all in united when we’re in trouble, but when it’s a little relieved, that unity disappears. We shouldn't do that.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu urged everyone to think differently, but that every thought in council should be consulted in ordewr to meet at a single consensus.

Stating that he is hopeful for the future, Hisarciklıoğlu stressed that merchants and industrialists can never lose hope, “If we lose hope, we can't open the shop door the next morning. Never alienate each other. I'd like to make a special request of you. Please raise your daughters as entrepreneurs. Support young people in entrepreneurship. Remember, entrepreneurship is the way to prosperity.”
