The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Central Anatolia Region Chamber/Commodity Exchange Consultative Meeting hosted by the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce.

Hisarcıklıoğlu began his speech by celebrating the World Women Entrepreneurs Day of women entrepreneurs. Today, the proportion of women entrepreneurs among 1.5 million entrepreneurs has increased to 9.5%. Women Entrepreneurs Councils have contributed greatly to this. Today there are women presidents, council speakers, board members, in our chambers/exchanges. This is what is necessary to prosper.”

Saluting armed forces and security forces fighting terrorist organizations at home and abroad, the TOBB President said, “May Heaven be the abode of our martyrs. In Operation Peace Spring, we stood by our government as a community. We have declared our support for the government together with other NGOs and professional organizations. We met with our President, as well as the CHP and MHP leaders, and the Minister of National Defense. We told our interlocutors and international organizations in 190 countries that the operation was legitimate and justified. As the joint business organization of Turkic-speaking countries, Turkish CCI President, we met with Turkic business organizations in Baku. Business people from six countries gathered under the same roof. We have their support, too.”

“I am very happy to be with you in my hometown of Kayseri,” Hisarcıklıoğlu said, emphasizing how much Kayseri attaches importance to devotion, adding, “We were at the academic year opening ceremony of Kayseri Erciyes University during which I was honored with an honorary doctorate title. I received this title, which you deem me worthy, on behalf of the entire Turkish business community, especially Kayseri business world. Allah bless you and your efforts.”

Stating that Aksaray, Kayseri, Kırsehir, Nevşehir, Niğde, Sivas and Yozgat entrepreneurs and OIZ presidents stand together, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “This is a region of people who have achieved the impossible in a region of impossibilities. You all know well the situation of these provinces in the past. Today, these provinces have become important historical, cultural, agricultural, industrial, tourism and education cities in Turkey. I would like to thank our Chamber-Exchanges for leading this transformation in our provinces. Now we have to work to move our provinces to their future goals. We have to guide our members; we have to pave the way. For this reason, we have recently made many arrangements come to life with your demands. Now we will discuss them in our consultation meeting.”
