Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee visits MHP

Representatives of the Turkish wing of the Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee visited Republican People's Party (MHP) Chairnan Devlet Bahçeli. Taking part in the visit were the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), TESK, Hak-İş, Turkey Kamu-Sen, Memur-Sen, TİSK, Türk-İş, TZOB and Turkish Pensioners Association.
The reception, which took place closed to the press at party headquarters, lasted about half an hour.
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who made a statement on behalf of the delegation after leaving the party headquarters following the reception, stated that they visited Bahceli to convey him their well wishes for his recovery.
Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We have found the opportunity to convey the views of the employees, farmers and tradespeople of the Turkish private sector in regards to Operation Peace Spring.”
Stating that they have expressed their condolences to Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın, Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked the MHP executives for receiving them.
