TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he appreciated Chairman Yusuf Cengiz’s successful work, “Tunceli promised employment at least equal to the number of chamber members present in Tunceli. The Tunceli Chamber has 627 members; there have been over 1,000 new jobs. This is terrific.”

Noting that the most important problem of the region is unemployment, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that there is need for production and investment in order to solve this problem. The TOBB President, explaining that it is not possible to trade without peace and to prosper without trade, said that Tunceli has great potential. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the Development Bank should act on behalf of Tunceli as soon as possible. He said that it is necessary to bring Tunceli to the fore of attraction centers.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that, especially in the recent period, the government has taken on works of great importance for the revival of the economy, drew attention to regulations which provide VAT discount and tax advantages.

Tunceli Governor Osman Kaymak participated in the meeting and addressed businessmen there, thanking TOBB for their contributions to Tunceli. He pointed out Tunceli's achievements in education. Governor Kaymak, businessmen provide a most sacred service in providing work and business, “Businessmen are very important for us. One out of every three people wants a job from me. Our business community will solve this. We will solve all the problems of the province by joining hands as state-nation-businessman.”

Following the visit, Hisarcıklıoğlu and accompanying delegation visited Tunceli CCI Chairman Yusuf Cengiz's office and attended a business luncheon.
