The number of capacity reports approved in the first 3 months of 2024 decreased by 0.7% (93 units) compared to the first 3 months of 2023.

Of the 4,508 capacity reports approved in March, 1,233 were issued in İstanbul, 322 in Ankara, 319 in Bursa, 244 in İzmir, 198 in Konya, 180 in Kocaeli, 136 in Gaziantep, 97 in Kayseri, 93 in Tekirdağ, 91 in Manisa.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database reached 96,618 in March 2024.

According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 1.8% (72,540 units) from 3,926,023 in March 2023 to 3,998,563 in March 2024.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
