TOBB Vice President Ali Kopuz said in his opening speech: He stated that the Glassware Council held 6 meetings in 2021 and expressed hope that this successful performance will continue in 2022. Kopuz expressed his satisfaction with the establishment of the Services Council, which began operations in November, and expressed confidence that the Council would carry out very successful work.

In the first agenda item of the meeting, a presentation on the “Economic Assessment of 2021” was made by Merve Dündar of the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV).

The meeting, in which Murat Kolbaşı, the Glassware Council President, and Hüseyin Bozdağ, chairman of the Services Council, gave an informational presentation on the council structures and import/export data of the sectors, ended with the consultation of the Council Members of the joint work between the Councils.
