Öztürk Oran informed that sectoral studies are closely monitored by TOBB and that the problems of the pharmaceutical sector are conveyed in every platform in the public eye.

Councilor President Nezih Barut made sectoral assessments and briefed the council members on the issues he conveyed during his visit to Trade Minister Mehmet MuÅŸ, representing the Pharmaceutical Industry Assembly.

Councilors exchanged ideas about the subcommittees planned to be established within the Council as the first agenda. As a result of the vote held at the meeting, it was decided to establish the Price and Reimbursement Subcommittee, the Licensing Subcommittee, the R&D, Localization, Production and Technology Subcommittee, the Biosimilar Subcommittee and the Health Products Subcommittee.

In addition, it was decided to discuss the changes envisaged to be made in the Drug Reimbursement Regulation by the Members of Parliament and to discuss the work to be done to overcome the problems in the licensing processes of the sector in the Established Licensing Subcommittee.
