“How do we keep up with the green transformation” webinar was held online. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Packaging Council President Mustafa Tacir, Waste and Recycling Industry Council President Ali Kantur, and the Plastics, Rubber and Composite Industry Council President Yavuz Eroğlu spoke at the webinar opening and discussed the issue for sectors.​

Horizon Consulting Co-Founder Eser Erginoğlu discussed the measures taken by the European Union countries in the plastics, waste and packaging sectors with his presentation titled “What Carbon Regulation brings at the Border.” Examples of carbon capture technologies were provided.

Berna Bildik, Environmental High Engineer at the Turkish Standards Institute, briefed on the European Green Deal Action Plan and the work carried out by TSE.

The webinar, which discussed the EU and Turkey perspectives of the arrangements under the European Green Deal, ended after the Q&A.
