The fourth roadshow, which covers face-to-face trainings in the designated provinces after online trainings in the Heroines of Entrepreneurship Project, which was implemented with the support of Arçelik Retail Academy in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council and Beko, was held in Şanlıurfa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Conference Hall.

The meeting was organized with the participation of Günseli Özen, Vice President of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council and Cevahir Asuman Yazmacı, Vice President of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council and TOBB Şanlıurfa Women Entrepreneurs Council President, Arçelik Retail Academy and Beko executives.

After the trainings given by instructor Fulya Argun to the members of TOBB Şanlıurfa Women Entrepreneurs Council, details were conveyed in a special panel for those who want to become dealers within the scope of Beko 100 Women Dealer project.

“Beko 100 Women Dealer project aims at two important objectives. Firstly, to make our existing women strong, and secondly to bring new women into the business world. Instead of handicrafts and tarhana, TOBB's goal is to see the power of women in more industry, more trade and more business. Beko 100 Women Dealer Heroines of Entrepreneurship project is designed to bring new entrepreneurs into the ecosystem with the support of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council in order to protect, empower and incorporate new women into the business world. This project, which has many advantages and opportunities, needs to be listened to, learned and supported carefully. In addition to today's face-to-face training, there are also great online videos prepared by Arçelik Retail Academy on this subject and I recommend you to follow them. You're not alone, you just have to show courage and take the first step. I know that you think like me and I believe that we will walk this path together.”

Cevahir Asuman Yazmacı, President of the Şanlıurfa Women Entrepreneurs Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, started by thanking those who contributed and participated and said, “The empowerment of women in all areas of life is an indispensable element of sustainable development. However, unfortunately in our country, this situation is still not at the desired level. The participation rate of women in the workforce in Turkey is 32.6%, which is lower among OECD countries.

As TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, we carry out various educational programs and projects from the past to the present in order to raise this level, and we strive for sustainable development with our entrepreneurial women in the Women Entrepreneurs Council ecosystem.

In this respect, today we are together with this event which allows our women who are trained at Arçelik Retail Academy with the “Heroines of Entrepreneurship” project to become Beko dealers. Offering our women the opportunity to become Beko dealers has created an attraction within the framework of our women's entry into business life.

In addition to the work of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Upper Council, our Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Councils also make extraordinary efforts and organize various programs and trainings in order to take a more effective role in the business life of our women and to solve the problems encountered in business life.

We will continue to touch the lives of many women with our female entrepreneurs today and tomorrow as in the past, and we will continue to support our members and female entrepreneurs to develop and grow their businesses. With these feelings and thoughts, I hope that our event will be successful and I thank you all again for your participation.”

“As Beko, we always support and stand by women's participation in the business world. In this way, which we aim to support and empower entrepreneurial women, we are happy to have organized in Ankara in the first of the face-to-face trainings that we would love to carry out within the scope of the Heroines of Entrepreneurship Project. The primary goal of this project is to be able to fill their courage in business life with education and to help women get their rightful place in business life in a safe, competitive and equipped way. Since it is integrated with our 100 Women Dealer Project, I would like to share that we will be happy to join us that our door is open to the entrepreneurial women of Central Anatolia who want to become Beko dealers after the trainings.”
