Turkish and Uzbek business communities come together

Within the scope of the activities of the Turkish-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum, the Uzbek delegation and members of the Turkish-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum and Turkish companies met.​

The meeting, chaired by Osman DoÄŸan Åžahlan, Co-Chair of the Turkish-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum, was attended by Alisher Isaev, CEO of the Exporters Association of Uzbekistan, Ali Baklan, Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan in Bursa, Members of the Turkish-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum, and Turkish and Uzbek companies.

 

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Osman DoÄŸan Åžahlan stated that as TOBB, they are working closely with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, information and experience are shared, and TOBB ETU Tashkent has been launched in Tashkent with the Uzbek Chamber. He stressed that the Turkish-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum, established for further development of cooperation, continues its activities and activities within the framework of pandemic conditions.

 

Alisher Isaev, CEO of the Exporters Association of Uzbekistan, stated that Uzbekistan has a lot to learn about trade from their Turkish friends and gave information about 'Milliard', the new institution they have established in Uzbekistan. He said the meeting would create a bridge to trade between Turkey and Uzbekistan.

After the opening speeches, the participants spoke and gave information about their companies and fields of activity. Later, bilateral business meetings took place between Turkish and Uzbek companies.

 

The Turkish-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum was established in 2017 by TOBB and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan (UZCCI). The President and members of the Turkish side of the Chamber is appointed by TOBB, and the Uzbekistan side is determined by UZCCI. Annual economic summits, joint board meetings, business forums, business meetings and efforts to improve Turkey-Uzbekistan relations are the main areas of work of the Turkish-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum.
