Mining Council discusses industry innovations

The Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Mining Council was held online to discuss the current problems and innovations of the sector with the participation of public administration, non-governmental organizations and private sector representatives under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Şaban Aziz Karamehmetoğlu and Council President İbrahim Halil Kırşan.​

In his opening speech, Åžaban Aziz KaramehmetoÄŸlu raised the importance of the mining sector during the pandemic period and informed the members about the work of the Mining Council.

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir Balıkçı, President of the Turkish Energy, Nuclear and Mining Research Agency (TENMAK), made a presentation on TENMAK. After the presentation, council members and participants consulted about TENMAK.

At the meeting where the General Manager of Mining Exploration and Exploration, Assoc. Dr. Yasin ErdoÄŸan also gave a speech, ideas were shared about the innovations and benefits that TENMAK can bring to the mining sector.
