Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

During the meeting, Ersin Kaşka, co-chairman of the Turkish-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum, provided information about the work of TOBB and the Turkish Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum, conveying his wishes of success to the Ambassador.

Kaşka stated that there is potential for cooperation between the two countries in areas such as tourism, mining, livestock and leathering, adding that the bilateral chamber continues to work to improve trade relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Zafer Ateş stressed that they will take into account the problems experienced by business people in the efforts to improve economic relations between the two countries, and stated that as the Ulanbator Embassy, they are always ready to help Turkish business people in all matters. He stated that with the elimination of the pandemic conditions, the necessary support will be provided for the planned delegation visits.

After the opening speeches, members of the Turkish Wing of the Turkish-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum introduced themselves and conveyed their demands and problems regarding their trade relations with Mongolia to Ulanbator Ambassador Zafer Ateş.

The Turkish-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum was established in 2018 by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI). The President and members of the Turkish Wing of the Chamber is appointed by TOBB, while the Mongolian side is appointed by the MNCCI. Annual economic summits, joint board meetings, business forums, business meetings and efforts to improve Turkey-Mongolia business relations are the main areas of work of the Turkey-Mongolia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum.
