TOBB reached 115,000 members with webinars in 2020

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) organized webinars and trainings for its members and employees on different topics. Despite the ongoing pandemic conditions since March 2020, TOBB completed 2020 by increasing the number of participants it reached in the first 6 months of the year 5-fold.​

In this process, trainings and webinars targeting corporate, technical and personal development were organized for TOBB members, Chamber-Exchange and TOBB employees. Approximately 10,000 TOBB, Chamber-Exchange employees benefited from 115,000 members from 187 different webinar and training programs.

TOBB officials listed the most popular activities carried out throughout the year as follows: SME Development Support Program (KOBÄ°GEL) Information Seminar, Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and VERBIS Registration Information Seminar, Short Work Allowance Information Webinar, KOSGEB SME Supports Information Seminar, Alternative Solution Method mediation and Arbitration Information Webinar in Commercial Disputes, TUBITAK UFUK2020 SME Supports Information Seminar, Hygiene and Covid-19 Documents Information Seminar for SMEs and E-Commerce E-Guidance Program.

Among the institutions and organizations in which TOBB cooperates in its work and continues its support under pandemic conditions: TR Presidency, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, Ministry of Foreign Affairs European Union Presidency, Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, KOSGEB, TUBITAK, Turkish Patent and Trademark Authority (Turkish Patent), Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), Public Procurement Authority (GCC), Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), Revenue Administration (GIB), Social Security Institution (SSI), Turkish Eximbank, Istanbul Arbitration Center (ISTAC), Turkish Reinsurance Inc., Association of Financial Institutions (FKB), European Nuclear Research Center (CERN), Google, Ä°dema and Turkish Corporate Governance Association (TKYD).
