Zeki Kıvanç attended Trade Facilitation Coordination Committee General Assembly

The 2nd General Assembly Meeting of the Coordination Committee on the Facilitation of Trade was held on 24th December 2020 under the chairmanship of Reza Tuna Turagay, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Trade. The meeting was attended by Zeki Kıvanç, a member of the Board of Directors representing the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).​

During the meeting, while informing about the outputs obtained from the work carried out by the Committee within the Working Groups and Technical Committee, the instructions of the General Assembly regarding the activities envisaged to be carried out for 2021 were received.

 

- Structure of the Committee

 

The Coordination Committee for the Facilitation of Trade, established in accordance with the relevant article of the World Trade Organization Trade Facilitation Agreement, consists of a total of 23 members, together with the relevant public institutions/organizations headed by the Ministry of Commerce and private sector umbrella organizations, including our Union. The committee is working to ensure that the public and private sectors come together to solve the problems experienced by the trading community.
