The opening speeches of the seminar were made by Hasan Çağlayan Dündar, Head of Real Sector R&D and Application Department, and M. Hakan Kızıltoprak, TOBB Presidential Special Counsel/TOBB-CERN Industry Liaison Representative.

Following the opening, M. Hakan Kızıltoprak gave a presentation on TOBB-CERN Industrial Liaison Office; CERN Purchasing Group President Anders Unnervik and CERN Purchasing Group Accelerators and Technology Head Jerome Pierlot on CERN and CERN Tenders and acquisitions. After their presentation, the participants' questions were answered.
